What if I don't know the designer or the designer isn't listed?
The designer name and style name are the main components of a bride's search for their dress when shopping online, therefore, having the designer and style name on your listing is critical for brides to be able to find your dress when doing a google search. Don't worry - you can still list and sell your gown SUCCESSFULLY with us even if you don't know it.
Ways To Find Designer & Dress Style Name or Number:
- Call the store your dress was purchased from to grab this information
- Find a style number on a tag sewn onto the dress, either near the back of the gown or under the skirt
- Google search the designer and year you bought it, and surrounding years as it may be a previous collection. Example: Hayley Paige 2017 bridal collection. Also, search on Pinterest!
- Filter through that designer's listings directly on our site, you may come across your exact dress being sold by someone else!
Designer Not Listed?
If your designer isn't listed, select "Other" from the designer drop-down list and then write the designer name (and the style number or name) in the style field. That way, the designer's name will appear in all searches on our site and Google's results.
Example: Crystal Design Style 9727 or Crystal Design Style Arielle
Don't Know Your Designer's Name?
If you do not know your designer's name or style number, please select "other" for the designer and then type a short description in the Style box. What you choose to type here will be the "title" of your dress listing and what shows up in a bride's Google search.
A great example of this is how David's Bridal titles their gowns:
Please do not add "Wedding Dress" at all, as our system will automatically append this to your listing title.
